There are approximately 180 residents of the Vietnam Friendship Village including 40 veterans and youth volunteers who are victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in addition there are children whose parents are victims of Agent Orange, all 180 residents received health checks.
Veteran Truong Van Chuyen, 65 years old from Minh Hoa commune, Minh Hoa district, Quang Binh Province said:”I have been at the Vietnam Friendship Village for 15 days. This is the first time that I have received the check and consultation of my health from the doctors of the Army hospital 103 and I feel happy and do not worry about my health”. Also with the same feeling was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cuong, 66 years old from Vo Cuong commute, Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province as he expressed his profound thanks for the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness of the doctors of the Army hospital 103.
At the end of the health check program Mr. Nguyen Thang Long, Vice Director of the Vietnam Friendship Village who is in charge of the medical center, expressed his special thanks for the interest in the hospital. On this occasion, the Army hospital 103 gave gifts to the Friendship Village, totaling 15,000.000VND.
